My name is Rebecca, but I go by Bex, and I write because I like it. I’m completely self-taught. No, that’s a lie. I’ve taken a couple creative writing courses, but that was years after I started writing and teaching myself. Am I a published author? No. Sorry. But I think what I’ve got to say is still pretty important, and it can be useful, or at the very least amusing. [UPDATE 1/19/13: Well on my way to becoming a published author now. That is, I have an agent and my book is being read by a publisher. Maybe that will make my advice slightly more important. Or not. Just thought I”d let you know.]
If you’re looking at this page to know about the blog (and not about me) then here’s the gist: I read a lot, I write a lot, and I complain a lot. The result of that is this blog. I write about reading, you can read about writing, and I will definitely complain about any and everything. But hopefully it’ll be in a way that is funny and not whiny.
If you’re looking at this page in the hopes that I will impart some invaluable wisdom upon you, then I’m afraid you’re going to be disappointed. The About page is not for wisdom. You’ll have to read the blog for that.
If you’re looking at this page in the hopes of finding a way to contact me, I would like to direct you to the page labeled “Contact.”
